The Viper offers a “back to the basics” approach to a sports car. The Viper has been notably referred to as the cobra of the 90's. While sitting 3.4 inches shorter and 2.6 inches wider than the corvette, it offers superb handling and drivability. At just 1,200 RPM the V10 offers 400 lbs/ft of torque and is ready to rip through the gears. In 1993 only 1,043 Vipers were made. Only a fraction of these were available in black. This was the first year that black was offered as a color option, as they were all previously red. This extremely low mile example has been very well cared for and the car obviously speaks for itself. The paint is in excellent shape and the interior is perfectly clean. The Michelin tires grip the road extremely well as the tread has lots of life left. A rare removable hardtop offers an enjoyable experience for the driver. The hardtop was a $3,000 option in 1993. The car also has the factory side curtains. This Viper also has air conditioning which wasn't in many of them.
