Product Details

The GTO is one of the most popular muscle cars of all time and rightly so with its big horsepower engines and sleek lines. This car came out of the Pontiac, MI assembly plant and is the 31,738th manufactured for 1965. There were 75,352 total GTO's produced in '65 with 55,722 being hardtop coupes and this is an option “N” car designating it as a real GTO . It is a 4 owner car that has been owned by the current owner for 9 years. It received a frame off restoration roughly 10 years ago with only the right rear quarter panel being replaced. According to the cowl tag, it was originally Burgundy but is now finished in Montero Red. It features the factory power antenna and factory gauges, and tachometer. Under the hood is a numbers matching 389ci with a Tri-Power carb set-up and some performance modifications that makes around 420hp matted to a M21 4-speed manual. This is a very nice driver quality goat that has been well taken care of since its restoration and tastefully modified with 15” Cragers on newer BF Goodrich T/A radials, Hooker headers connected to mufflers that dump after the doors, an aftermarket Wizard Cooling radiator, and a Kenwood audio system. The car also comes with a large amount of original parts such as: 14” wheels, radiator, steering wheel, exhaust, radio, rear end gear, connecting rods, etc… It is equipped with power brakes with front discs, manual steering, windows, and locks. Overall a very clean and great looking and driving GTO that will make the next owner very proud to own. With the 50th Anniversary of the GTO upon us and prices starting to climb back up on GTO's, don't miss your chance to grab one!
