1989 Aston Martin - Lagonda

We are proud to present to our loyal clientele one of the most expensive cars that was ever produced for the worldwide market. Sources say that the electronic system alone was 4 times the budget of the entire vehicle. This Aston Martin Lagonda Series IV was the second to last year of production of the Lagonda that lasted 16 years while only producing 105 in the last two years and well recognized as the most collectible of all years. The series IV was debuted at the Geneva Motor Show and received a significant face lift from the previous generation along with bigger 16in wheels and the removal of the side swage line/character line. These cars spoke for themselves in regards to cutting edge technology and looks at the time of production. Very few of these cars still exist and less than 8 are believed to be in existence in the USA . This one owner vehicle was delivered to Gregg Motors of Beverly Hills CA in August of 1989 after being finalized at the production plant in June of 1989. Car was sold to David Copley out of La Jolla California where it remained in his custody and extreme watchful eye. Car was routinely serviced at the Aston Martin dealer with warranty work and regular Maintaince all being performed by the certified Aston Martin mechanics. Service documents show not only the delivery service, but also the routine 10k, 15k, 20k and 30k mile service all being complete along with regular yearly fluid and adjustments that were recommended. Recent service just a few thousand miles ago include; full brake service and rear shocks, new Heritage exhaust to accommodate Aston Martin catalytic convertors so the car could pass the strict CA emissions, new intake manifold O-rings, injector seals, vacuum hoses, and plenum hoses. All doors and hinges were removed, lubricated and adjusted to work properly as well as both the engine hood and rear trunk compartment so there were no catches or closing issues. Further enhancements were a Binnacle ECU replacing the factory ECU and all new leather wrapped dash and wood veneer throughout the luxurious cabin. This Lagonda is quite an impressive piece of machinery and art and one that will never be duplicated again. This car is in excellent condition both inside and out and retains the original briefcase of tools, original jack, spare tire with leather wrapping and both keys. Car runs and drives as new and electronics do not seem to have any issues.
