We are pleased to offer this 1967 Pontiac GTO 2-door coupe for purchase. Although there were earlier muscle cars, the GTO is thought to have launched the muscle car era for the American producers. With great styling, Pontiac decided to put the larger engine designed for bigger vehicles in to the A-body intermediate line to create a powerful street speed machine. The GTO is widely considered as one of the best vehicles GM has ever made. This GTO is in excellent condition inside and out. It's a fresh restoration that was completed five years ago. This car is period correct down to the fuel filter. It comes with a rare dealer installed tri-power carburetor (year after they were a factory option). It's powered by the original 400cu in 6.6L V8 with a 4-speed manual transmission. This is a true American classic. The GM A-body platform never looked so good with the stacked headlight aggressive stance. We hold the PHS documents on this car.
