Hold on to your hats folks, this 1972 GMC Jimmy is about to blow you away. Factory options on this Jimmy when delivered new included: 4 season air conditioning (no longer on truck), 350 CID V8, Power Steering, On / Off Road Tires, Medium Olive Metallic Paint, Rear Seat, Front Wheel Locking Hubs, Turbo Hydramatic transmission, Full Wheel Covers, Cheyenne Equipment and Olive Vinyl Bucket seats. Since, this 1972 Jimmy has had just three owners and was originally kept at a second home along the shores of Lake Michigan. The truck was never used in the winter and as a result, a full restoration and modification was performed on a most excellent candidate. The truck still retains its original frame, floors and body panels. Mechanically this Jimmy spent some time at the gym and is now powered by a professionally prepared big block 454 that was stroked to 468 cubic inches, it is hooked to a 700 R4 automatic transmission fortified with a 2800 stall converter, fully rebuilt rear 12 bolt Eaton rear axle with 488 gears, and fully rebuilt Dana 44 front. The truck stands head and shoulders above the crowd with a Superlift suspension lift, setting on XD series 20 inch wheels skinned with meaty Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires. Other highlights included Holley Performance dual feed carburetor atop of a midrise intake, MSD ignition, Brand new Supper Topper soft top, Hedman Headers, transmission cooler, finned aluminum differential cover and dual Flomaster Exhaust. The interior remains mainly stock with the exception of a Custom steering wheel, Kenwood sound system and auxiliary gauges. The presentation of this truck is phenomenal and the performance is amazing. This truck gets a ton of looks and with the top off makes the perfect beach cruiser for summer fun.
