Product Details

Proud to present this extremely rare 1988 G50 Carrera Coupe in Cassis Red Metallic with the deep red leather seats. This car is a perfect example of what a collector would strive to have in their portfolio. It comes with everything you look for an a Carrera Porsche; Service records, factory features without any aftermarket upgrades, rare and unique color combination, pristine condition both inside and out and all books, tools, spare tire, and jack. This Porsche came from the factory built in November of 1987 and delivered new out of Berkey Imported Cars in Pleasanton California in March of 1988. Vehicle remained in the California climate up until 2008 where it was sold to a gentleman in Grand Rapids MI and recently purchased by us. Factory options include; Sport steering wheel hub elevated, Reno Radio with cassette, Light metal wheels forged and painted to match exterior color, automatic speed control, sport shock absorbers Bilstein, and sunroof. As stated above, this car is the triple trifecta when looking to buy an investment. Vehicle has service records almost since new with proper service being performed at all necessary intervals (15k, 30k, 45k, 60k, 75k, 90k, 100k) as well as routine oil changes and fluids flushed in between. Less than 8k miles ago the car had over $15k worth of service work performed that included; clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, head temp sensor, slave cylinder, valve job, Bilstein shocks, inner axle boot, shift selector shaft seal, plugs, wires, fuel lines, and much more. Most importantly thought the vehicle had an engine out service at 108k miles and was serviced completely and recently received a thumbs up. Vehicle is almost all stock minus a few extra speakers and CD Changer in the bonnet, but retains the factory stereo. A dealer installed center console was also installed at delivery and is a rare find. All books, two sets of keys, jack, tools and spare tire are intact. Vehicle also retains its original sheet metal with matching VIN tags and appears to be factory original paint. Our test drive also revealed the car to run and drive very nicely and effortlessly go into all 5 forward gears and reverse. Gauges work properly along with the clock and car is free from any major cosmetic flaws. In closing this is a fantastic vehicle that will not only continue to appreciate at a rapid rate, but also give the next owner a sports car that will never be duplicated or confused with another Porsche of its segment.
