2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport Double Cab 4x4, finished in Inferno Orange with a black and orange interior. A build sheet is provided in the photo gallery and shows that this Tacoma features the TRD Sport Package, the V6 Tow Package, a composite bed, a lockable and removable tailgate, heated front seats, a premium audio system with an integrated navigation system, a back-up camera, and more as detailed below. Modifications include 17-inch fifth generation 4Runner wheels, AVS Ventvisor window deflectors, side steps, a tonneau cover, and chrome "Tacoma" inserts in the tailgate. Introduced in 2015, the third-generation Tacoma came equipped with an optional Atkinson cycle V6 engine utilizing Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i), which replaced Toyota's previous VVT system. The third-generation "Taco" also featured updated styling, a more comfortable interior, and a more rigid high-strength steel frame. Power for this Tacoma comes from a "2GR-FKS" 3. 5-liter V6 engine, rated at 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
