Product Details

Marking the second year of the 911SC, Porsche was taking orders quicker than they could build this new generation 911. The SC was now the only normally aspirated 911 Porsche available, replacing the 911S in the US and Canada and the 2.7 in Rest of the World markets. The new buyer probably would not have noticed new details like the brake servo (fitted for the first time across the range), that greatly improved derivability around town and reduced pedal effort when the brakes were cold. This stunning car has been an Arizona vehicle most of its life and was owned by the second owner for over 25years. Car was treated to a significant amount of service work within the month and less than 500 miles ago. Vehicle went through significant amount of service and mechanical repairs that totaled over $10,000 and was done by a Porsche specialist in Tucson Arizona. This extensive service had the engine out and almost all wear items were replaced or updated. Fuel tank removed and pressure washed and cleaned extensively, fuel pump, Carrera oil tensioner upgrade, new gaskets and thermostat O-ring. Cam tower oil lines & Seal rings, resealed top of engine, installed new breather cover and gasket as well as breather hose. New plugs and wires and many transmission seals. New airbox and flywheel seals and fuel filter. Adjusted the timing and set proper fuel mixture. All new brake pads and rotors were added as well as fresh fluid and proper gaskets along with brake calipers rebuilt. Heat exchanger and new side oil return tubes as well as reseal transmission. CV boots and joints repacked, new sunroof seals shift tower, replace shifter bullcup and rebuild rear shift coupler. Interior of this 911SC is all new with fresh carpet, seat covers, leather dash pad, door panels and door seals. Vehicle sits to European ride specs along wider polished Fuchs that just recently had new Yokohama tires mounted onto them. Porsche colored crest in the wheels and updated H4 headlights. The rear end sports a brake light hoop bar that gives the car an updated look. Other tasteful upgrades are a dual sport exhaust and newer AM/FM Stereo with CD. Car comes with keys, service records, collapsible spare tire and jack. Most importantly is the stunning Light Blue Metallic paint that is extremely rare and stands out from the usual black, red, or white cars. The market has seen double digit value increases over the past few years and shows no signs of slowing for well documented, well cared for and cars that show as well as they drive such as this pristine example. Don't hesitate as this aggressively market priced Porsche will not last long!
