Product Details

Chevrolet El Camino is a coupé utility/pickup vehicle that was produced by Chevrolet between 1959–60 and 1964-87. Introduced in the 1959 model year in response to the success of the Ford Ranchero pickup, its first run lasted only two years. Production resumed for the 1964–1977 model years based on the Chevelle platform, and continued for the 1978–1987 model years based on the GM G-body platform. Although based on corresponding Chevrolet car lines, the vehicle is classified and titled in North America as a truck. GMC's badge engineered El Camino variant, the Sprint, was introduced for the 1971 model year. Renamed Caballero in 1978, it was also produced through the 1987 model year. The current owner purchased this vehicle back in 2003 and has kept it in tip-top shape. Provided with the vehicle is a large stack of receipts and records that add up to well over $10,000. Some great features include; power steering, power brakes, freshly rebuilt 396 cubic inch V8, 4-speed transmission, factory air, tilt steering wheel, AM/FM stereo with cassette and Kenwood 10 CD Changer, rebuilt front suspension, rebuilt transmission and shift linkage, rebuilt steering box and much more. This vehicle looks, sounds, and drives very nice, truly an arrow straight build. Please contact us today for more information on this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino.
