The 1983 Porsche 911SC marked the end of the run for the highly sought after 3.0L and the body style that was iconic. With the move to a more driver friendly and more refined Carrera in '84, but one that took away the true driver feel that the 911SC offered its driver. Offered here is a very nice 911SC Targa that has had some great upgrades and puts out plenty of power as well as a nice rumble with the dual exhaust. Vehicle has spent most of its life in sunny Hawaii, where it remained for most of its life and received routine service and Maintaince from its fanatic Porsche owner. About two years ago it was sold to a gentleman out of North Carolina where it was highly tuned and received a high quality paint job, where the windows, seals, moldings and decals were all properly removed or tapped off. The Targa roll bar was also painted and shows extremely well. Interior was freshened up with new carpet, door seals, Targa seals, and new dash. Engine received a complete engine out service, installed 6 new injectors, adjusted valves, changed oil and transmission lubed. Further the engine had new head studs and P&C's, rebuilt heads and lowers. Aero mirrors were added along with the short shifter and center console. Along with the engine upgrades the car also received an 11 blade fan that looks and functions nicely with car. Chain tensioners and pop-off valve was also upgraded from the stock setup to provide many more worry free miles. Also installed were new drilled and slotted rotors, brake lines, rebuilt calipers and turbo tie rods to complete the suspension and give the car a nicer ride. New tires mounted on the 17in turbo twist black matt wheels about 6 months ago and new RUF front and rear bumpers (originals available). H4 headlights were added as well. All gauges function properly and car has brand new speakers installed, but radio is inop at this time. This car has been well cared for and is a blast to drive. Yes, it is not the stock original that the purest enjoy, but it is also not priced like one and is a lot more enjoyable to drive and have fun with.
