THIS. . . is a 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport Double Cab 4x4, finished in black with a Graphite interior. The TRD Sport trim-level features a sport tuned suspension, 17-inch machined alloy wheels, grille with smoked finish and chrome surround, a hood scoop, and color-keyed exterior trim. Modifications to this Tacoma are limited to 17-inch Black Rhino wheels with Falken Wildpeak A/T tires, front grille and emblem painted black, deleted rear and side decals and badges, and tinted windows. Introduced in 2015, the third-generation Tacoma came equipped with an optional Atkinson cycle V6 engine utilizing Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i), which replaced Toyota's previous VVT system. The third-generation "Taco" also featured updated styling, a more comfortable interior, and a more rigid high strength steel frame. Power comes from a "2GR-FKS" 3. 5-liter V6 engine, rated at 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear or all four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
