The 2nd generation of Bel-Air's was quite the milestone mechanically, but it's forever overshadowed by the styling of this masterpiece. Few cars go down the street like a Bel-Air and command near as much attention. Sure their small block V8 may have saved GM, but this car screams style from the “Swinging 50's”. This '56 Bel Air originally came out of Tennessee before a full restoration just four years ago by a professional body shop. The restoration is to stock conditions with every little detail to make this car looked like it's rolling in to the drive-in movies in 1956. It looks excellent with its chrome accents nicely contrasting with the 2-tone blue paint. It's powered by a period correct 265ci V8 rebuilt for the restoration paired with a correct powerglide automatic transmission. The working odometer reflects the miles since the rebuild and restoration. This car runs and drives great and is an awesome nostalgic collector!
