THIS. . . is a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie 4x4, finished in Graphite Metallic with a Dark Slate Gray interior. Modifications to this Ram include AMP Research power running boards, an aftermarket trailer brake controller, an AEM intake, and a Pioneer head unit. The third generation of Dodge Ram debuted in 2001 for the 2002 model year, and the Ram 1500 included an all-new frame, suspension, powertrains, interiors, and sheet metal. The 2500/3500 trucks were introduced in 2003 and thankfully retained their durable live rear axles. The four-wheel drive models featured a solid front axle and recirculating-ball steering setup, and the two-wheel-drive models came equipped with an independent front suspension and rack-and-pinion steering. Power comes from a 5. 9-liter inline-6 Cummins high-output turbodiesel engine, rated at 325 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque.
