Product Details

The car has been the recipient of a complete restoration completed approximately 8 years ago. Since then the car has been kept in private collection, properly stored indoors, driven, shown and appreciated. The car is finished in correct 2 tone green paint over cloth interior. Mechanically it is powered by an inline six engine, 3 speed manual transmission. The interior is new from LeBARON BONNEY and remains in excellent condition. Thousands of dollars and countless hours were spend through City Auto Body in Grand Haven, MI on the body work and paint. The 411 gears were removed and changed to 370 to allow for a better cruising speed. A lot of work was done by Rademaker's in Grand Haven. There are countless receipts from Chevs of the 40s in Vancouver, WA. Along with the sale of this car comes the impressive file of receipts and photobook of the restoration. The glass was replaced with safety glass. The car received a front end alignment done by Z tire Center in Grand Haven when the build was completed. The wheels were blasted and powder coated to match color of car. The car features a sun visor, owner's manual, spot lights, and body manual. The leaf springs were rebuilt by Muskegon brake and distributing company in Muskegon. The wood grain was custom painted on and cost over $1,100. The gauges were redone as well. The car rides on 3 inch whitewall tires. In July 2009 the engine was rebuilt at Car Quest and in September 2009 the frame was sandblasted and painted at City Auto Body. The car also has the unique and rare luggage tray in the trunk. This car is truly beautiful and everything was replaced new or rebuilt.
