The Buick Riviera has been Buick's top of the line 4 passenger coupe since 1963. Buicks commitment to luxury and quality was in full swing in those days as stiff completion between the Big Three kept Buick on its toes with radical changes in design in all generations on the model. The third generation Riviera is recognizable by its bold design incorporating a boattail style line in the rear deck lid. These highly optioned cars of the early 70's were the end of an era where size did matter when it came to American luxury. Their size and bold retro styling going down the road and sitting on the show lawn have made this generation of Riviera's a comeback classic car with an expanded market for these standouts. This '72 Buick Riviera is a 3-owner car that was purchased new at Chuck Naiman Buick in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This car is an awesome big and bold Riviera and it looks great in the rare Charcoal Mist factory paint color. It's powered by the 455ci V8 engine and automatic transmission. In the last couple years, the current owner has extensively gone through the car mechanically with a full tune-up including a new water pump, new radiator, air conditioning converted to R134 (is working great), rebuilt carburetor, replaced lights, and more. This car has also received new carpet, new upholstery, and a new windshield. This car runs and drives great and is a really impressive car ready to go to the next owner.
