The seller reports no modifications. When the first-generation R8 (called "Type 42" internally) was launched in September of 2006, 6-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Jacky Ickx described it as "the best handling road car today. " The R8 shared several parts with the Lamborghini Gallardo, though it was a fundamentally different car. The 5. 2-liter V10 engine was added to the R8 lineup in 2009, and production ended in 2015.
