The GM A-Body is legendary with widely being credited for starting the true muscle car era with such great cars as the Pontiac GTO , Buick GS, Chevy Chevelle, and Oldsmobile 442. The Lemans is the higher trim level (than the Tempest) of the two A-body offerings that weren't the GTO after the GTO became its own model line in 1966. Many muscle car enthusiasts point to the 1966 & 1967 model years as one of the best body styles ever built with the signature being the stacked quad headlights. This 1966 Lemans Convertible is badged in tribute to the GTO with mechanical upgrades as well. It's powered by a 1969 Gran Prix 400ci V8 engine paired with a Turbo Hydromatic 3-speed automatic transmission. It features a power convertible top, power steering, power brakes, and an aftermarket CD player & radio hidden in the glove compartment. This is a great running and very solid car in one of the most attractive body styles ever built. Top down 60's muscle is just about as cool a summer ride you could ever have.
