Factory equipment includes the desirable Z51 Performance Package, a front axle lift system, a transparent removable roof panel, heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable GT2 bucket seats, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, a navigation system, a performance data and video recorder, and a head-up display. This car's build sheet is shown in the gallery, and the seller reports no modifications. Released for 2020, the eighth-generation Corvette switched to a mid-mounted engine, a configuration which represented the most drastic change in the nameplate's decades-long history. Placing the V8 behind the passenger compartment allowed designers to completely reinvent the Corvette's proportions, while engineers took advantage of the rear-biased weight distribution to dial in sharper handling. The "C8" remains in production as of 2022. Power comes from a 6. 2-liter "LT2" V8, rated at 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.
