The 59 Cadillac is remembered for its huge sharp tailfins with dual bullet tail lights, two distinctive rooflines & roof pillar configurations, new jewel-like grille patterns, and matching deck lid beauty panels. GM's Bill Mitchell styled these beauties with an eye towards space shuttle cues that make these vehicles such bold statements going down the road. It's incredibly recognizable and the 59 Cadillac line is considered by many as the benchmark of the era with convertibles very highly sought after as collector's items today. Standard equipment included power brakes, power steering, automatic transmission, back-up lamps, wheel disc brakes, power antenna, and outside rear-view mirror. The convertible models came with power windows and a power front bench seat. This Caddy is powered by a rebuilt 350ci V8 engine paired with a 350 turbo transmission. This car was completely restored after coming from Sacramento, California in 2000. It doesn't lack any curb appeal with custom pink paint and custom pink interior. The car was professionally re-chromed and the stainless steel was professionally polished. The frame was treated and sandblasted to bring this car up to near perfect condition. It also features Colorado custom Billet wheels, RV cam, and Coker whitewall radials. This is an awesome find as a California desert car that has been stored in a heated garage since its restoration. Nothing turns heads like a 59 Cadillac!
