The 964 as they were internally called was built from 1989 through 1994 and was considered to be 85% new from its predecessor the the Carrera 3.2. It was offered for the first time in Porsche History with a very technical AWD system that was first used on the Porsche super car the 959. It was also offered with the optional Tiptronic automatic transmission. All in all over 62,000 units were produced in that five year span. It was built as a coupe, targa or cabriolet.. It also had new features such as a automatic raising spoiler above 50 MPH to help with aerodynamics, the body lines were changed a little integrating a smooth bumper-to-body and more flush lighting system. This particular gorgeous 964 is offered in the special order color of Midnight Blue Metallic over tan. The Porsche is also featured with a Targa top and Tiptronic transmission. The 964 we are offering has covered just over 50,000 miles from new and is in good condition. It retains its original spare, air compressor and owners manual. This car starts, runs and drives very nice.
