The Oldsmobile 442 became its own model line in 1968 after being an option package for the Cutlass. The 442 etymology comes from 4-barrel carburetor, 400 cubic inch displacement, and dual exhausts. The 442 is a muscle car legend with its GM Cousins of the same platform (Chevelle, GTO , and GS). This 4 owner 442 is dressed in newer Nassau Blue Metallic exterior paint. It remains in excellent driver quality condition overall due to spending many years as a dealership showroom promotional vehicle. The dash remains original and included is an aftermarket stereo system underneath the driver's seat with remote and connection for MP3 player. There are Pioneer speakers for the back seat and trunk that are not cut in to preserve the originality of the vehicle. This car also features power steering, power brakes, new air shocks, new heavy duty springs, and new drum brakes. It's powered by the original 400ci 6.6L V8. This car runs and drives great. It is a multiple show winner in excellent condition inside & out. The Oldsmobile 442 is one of the great muscle cars from the greatest era of automobiles.
