Ford Motor Company starting testing the general public as to how they would react to the concept of the Mustang, which first was shown in 1963. Their plans were to recreate the then popular Ford Falcon, pulling their platform and morphing it from the 4-seater Mustang I to a more aggressive looking 2-seater dubbed the Mustang II. Although these concepts were created from the Fairlane Group themselves, nothing about the vehicle was comparable to what they had made before. With eyes on competing against the then popular Chevrolet Corvair, they not only showed the potential of this model but the consumers had turned it into one of the most iconic vehicles ever made and continue to reinvent themselves successfully.
