Just out of a private collection, we are proud to offer this ultra-low mile, completely original, time warp example, 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V. These cars were the top of the heap when it came to the American personal luxury vehicles of the 1970's. The car offered here is a completely preserved example featuring only 6329 miles from new. This 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V features the optional 210 HP 460 V8 engine fed by a 4 barrel carburetor. The car looks as it was just driven out of the show room, original paint still appears new, all exterior plastic pieces are perfect, the wheels are excellent, even the original tires still have excellent tread depth. This two owner car is not a low mile “Barn Find”, rather, this car has been keep in a temperature controlled environment and in a detailed state since new. The attractive two tone burgundy / white leather interior is near flawless, no cracks anywhere in the vinyl or veneer and the leather remains very supple, as new. The engine bay and undercarriage remain extremely clean and are 100 percent complete featuring original factory markings, the original factory “buck” tag, all stickers, chalk markings etc. Mechanically, the car is as new, everything works including all power appointments including windows, seats, miriors etc. The factory A/C / Climate Control is fully functional, the Cartier Clock is functioning, mechanically the car is 100 percent “on the button” and delivers the posh, smooth and luxurious ride that these Mark V's are famous for. This car also features the rare Carriage Roof option. Documentation includes all factory numbers, tags and markings, owner book, dealer color and upholstery selections book, Factory product book, etc. The Lincoln Mark Series Cars were important cars that were driven by important people.
