The purity of driving a 2-seat British Roadster is an addictive experience. Our servicemen in WWII in England brought home the passion and the market for these roadsters. MG then made the bold move to create a version of the TD exclusively for export. At the time, vehicles produced for use in Great Britain were assembled with restrictive post- WWII fuel shortage standards. For this generation from 1950-53, nearly 30,000 cars were produced with all but 1,656 were exported. 23,488 of them were directly exported to the United States with demand that exceeded production. This 1950 MG TD is an awesome example in Clipper Blue that comes out of a private collection last purchased in 1975! It was restored at purchase and used by an enthusiast ever since. The care this TD has receieved is reflected in its excellent condition making it both a very fun car to drive and show off. It's powered by the correct 1,250cc four cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission. Recent maintenance includes new wiring, new regulator, new top, new side curtains, the clock is working, and more! This collector's item gives you an outstanding classic British open air motoring experience!
