The car spent the majority of its life in Texas and as a result, according to the owner, retains its original sheet-metal, floors and rockers. The original 318 engine has been replaced with a professionally prepared, 426 hemi engine bored and stroked to 526 CID . Not stopping there, the car has been outfitted with aluminum heads, and fed by a fuel injected Kuhl supercharger system and according to the owner, produces an estimated 1000 horse power under full fuel load. To harness all this power, the frame has been tied and a custom 4-link suspension has been implemented. The rear has been tubbed to accommodate the 18 inch wide Centerline aluminum wheels skinned with meaty and sticky Mickey Thompson 21X18.5 15 tires. Other highlights include Mark Williams Hi-torque Axles, headers, aluminum radiator, Hurst ratchet sytle shifter, Pro Comp Gauges, Centerline Aluminum Wheels, engine oil heater with oil prime pump, custom steering wheel, custom interior, etc. The car has been sorted by Mopar Guru, Vance Cummins, and driven 2626 miles since new. Engine and suspension receipts add up to well over 40, 000 dollars. On the turn of the key to position one, you hear the fuel pumps pressure up, and on start, the motor instantly roars to life.
