The SC 430 was introduced as Lexus' new generation of sport coupes. It was powered by a 4.3 liter V8 which generated 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque producing 0 – 60 times of 5.9 seconds and sped through a quarter mile in just under 14 seconds. To compliment its power is a sport suspension creating amazing stability of its nearly 4000 pound curb weight and powerful brakes bringing the car from 60mph to a halt in only 121 feet.
