The 1st generation of Camaro's and Firebirds were GM's answer to the Ford Mustang creating the desire for the pony car market. Unlike the Camaro, the bumpers were integrated in to the front end with a very unique “Coke bottle” styling. Although the Firebird moniker lived on in to the new millennium, 1969 models are thought of as the pinnacle of the line. This Firebird convertible is a stunner in Verdoro Green. The chrome accents contrast beautifully with this updated paint job. The dash is all original in appearance with the original radio. There is a CD player in a wooden case on the center console that can be easily removed if all stock is your objective. The black vinyl interior and black convertible top are in excellent condition. This Firebird is powered by the original 350ci V8 (that was professionally in 2003) paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. It features power steering, power convertible top, and power brakes. This car runs great and is a lot of fun to drive for top down muscle car fun. Check out the underneath photos that show how solid this classic truly is. It doesn't get any better on a nice day than dropping the top on this beast! Why wouldn't you want this in your garage? Who doesn't enjoy being the coolest person pulling up to a bbq?
