The Ford Victoria is part of the long history of the Ford 50's era that sparked a car revolution like nothing else before. Ford was producing cars that the masses wanted and with a tremendous amount of options and body configurations that kept every family or business man happy with the choices that were available from the dealer. Constructed on the same wheelbase chassis using the same suspension components as non-Crowns, they also used the same engines and transmissions. Little change to the exterior was evident, other than the obvious "basket handle" trim atop the roof, additional chrome add-ons and emblem updates. Offered here is a stunning example of a car that received lots of attention and care over the past years. According to previous owner the car received a nice restoration about 10yrs ago and was painted to factory specs, new chrome bumpers and all bright work either replaced or reconditioned, engine removed and rebuilt, transmission serviced and the interior was gone thru with new seat covers, carpets and headliner. It is evident after looking at this car closely that a lot of time and money was invested in this process and with the addition of the glass pack dual exhaust, this Vicky really barks when you stick your foot down. Vehicle fires up with ease and effortlessly shifts thru the gears and brakes with confidence when on the open roads. According to body tag the car was produced in November of 1956 and was ordered in the Golden Glow Yellow and Colonial White two-tone exterior and the black and white interior setup. Vehicle carries some extra window shade chrome, white wall tires with wire hubcaps, and clean setup throughout the car. These were high volume cars that many were converted over to some kind of hot rod…other than a few period correct changes this Fairlane Victoria remains in stock condition and ready for the next owner to enjoy at car shows, events or cruises with that special lady by your side with plenty of room in the back seat to do a little necking!
