We are pleased to offer this well executed, 1946 Chevrolet Custom Coupe for consideration. This car is an all steel body that was acquired from the state of Arkansas an has been with the current owner for over 20 years. The restoration was completed approximately 15 years ago and has been kept in heated storage and impeccably maintained since. The car features a Chevy 355 CID V8 tune port injected engine, turbo 350 automatic transmission with shift kit and 2500 stall converter, Posi rear end with 3.73 gears, Heights slider springs, front and rear torsion bars Mustang II front end, aluminum radiator, power steering, power brakes, and Weld Racing forged aluminum wheels. Other highlights include bucket seats, console shift, headers, flowmaster exhaust, Faria gauge package, Jensen stereo with cassette, Grant GT steering wheel, uncut dash, shaved door handles and smoothed body. The two tone silver and red metallic paint is excellent in all areas and the interior is tidy. Mechanically, this car is a blast to drive, well behaved in traffic, smooth on the highway and with an estimated 375 horsepower, it is no slouch in light to light racing fun.
