Hold on to your hats as we accelerate you towards this outstanding example of custom American horsepower, this 1941 Willys Coupe. This Willys is built on a Square Tube Art Morrison style Chassis by Dennis Taylor Reproductions power coated in black with drive shaft loop. The car is powered by a GM big Block professionally prepard by Performance Engineering of Grand Rapids, MI bore and stroked to 496 cubic inches. It is fed by an Edlebrodk intake with dual Holley 650 CFM carbs. Internals include: Comp hydrolic roller cam and complete Comp Cam valve train, eagle crank shaft, Pro Comp aluminum cylinder heads with Comp roller rockers. The transmission is a 700R4 with overdrive with Hurst racing shifter with custom made console. Other mechanical highlights include: Powermaster gear reduction starter, MSD distributer, coil and gal box, Lokar stainless throttle cable and pedals. To keep everything running cool, the car is fitted with an oversized custom Walker copper brass Radiator fro Outlaw Performance with Cooling Components electric fan. The front end is a Heidts Stainless Super Ride tubular a arms with coil over shocks. The rear end is a Fabricated 9 inch Ford style rear end with 4.10 positraction gears, four link with adjustable coil over shocks. The brakes are GM disc front and rear, the steering is rack and pinion with IDIDIT column chromed with Borgeson joints and connectors. The presentation of this Willys is stunning as the exterior is dressed in “House of Kolor Raspberry pearl with Dupont Chromaclear clear coat, custom airbrushed real fire flames on rear fenders and hood. The Custom black interior was masterfully executed by Krist Kustoms and features wool carpet, custom headliner, Autometer gauges with custom made dash and stainless bezel and custom shifter housing.
