Product Details

The Porsche 356 layout was none other than a nothing-wasted design with top-notch workmanship and outstanding road manners. This blueprint for Porsche turned into instant sports-car success from the pre production models through 1965 when production ended for the 356. The car was configured in a closed coupe or a few different styles of open cars, the evolution of the 356 was more in performance and functionality more than superficial styling changes. The tail end of production for the 356's were the “c” models or known by some as the disc brake cars. They were not only the most refined but also the cars with the most power. This is why today these coupes are climbing in value at a astronomical rate. The car offered here is a non-numbers matching car that starts, runs and drives very well. I believe the motor to be a 912 engine that has quite a bit of power. This 356 would make a great candidate for an outlaw car or vintage racer. The owner has used the car as a driver for the last couple of years and has never had an issue with reliability. A lot of the interior is believed to be original and is complete. It does have a set of bumpers that accompany the car. It is getting very hard to find these “Disc Brake” cars at this price.
