The Chevelle was a muscle car built by GM and was one of Chevrolets most successful nameplates. It was a mid-sized car intended to compete with the Ford Fairlane. The Chevelle SS represented Chevrolet's entry into the muscle car battle in 1964 and lasted through the 1972 when rising gas prices and government bureaucracy ended the once exciting world of street performance fun. The Chevelle we are offering here is a very exceptional car that has had a 454 Cubic inch engine that has obviously been built for performance added as well as a 6-speed manual transmission that makes this animal a blast to drive. Although this amazing Chevelle starts, runs and brakes very well it is not a show queen. It 's intentions were to look nice going down the road.
