Perhaps not other name goes with American automotive performance better than Carroll Shelby. His name is attached to some of the most revered cars ever produced including the GT40, Daytona Coupe, Cobra, GT 500 and GT 350. To this day, cars that Carroll Shelby was involved with are held in some of the most prestigious collections around the world. This GT500 was delivered new by Bill Grimes Ford, Inc. of Midland, MI dressed in classic, Candyapple Red paint over Black interior. Options include: Extra Cooling Package, Visibility Group, Wheel Lip Moldings, Sport Deck Rear Seat, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, Tilt-Away Steering Column, Interior Décor Group, Tachometer and Trip Odometer. The car features a older selective style restoration performed roughly 1995 using NOS parts that shows excellent in all areas. The car is powered by its legendary 428 Cobra Jet 4 Barrel V8, the horsepower is transferred by a C-6 Automatic Transmission and applied by the Ford 9 inch rear end.
