1976 Cadillac - Fleetwood

Cadillac moved their lineup to a trimmed down version in 1971 and offered just one Sixty Special model, the Sixty Special Brougham. The wheel base was longer than most at a staggering 133.0 inches and featured an all new sheet metal with a very distinctive roof design. The vinyl tops were now C-pillar mounted with opera lamps and a bulkier B-pillar which went to adding to the “limousine” effect. Cadillac was still sticking to their bread and butter vehicle, the DeVille, but now with its low-volume specialty item added to the list of vehicles, the luxury and overall purpose for these Sixty Special Broughams were a hit. They went on to build these through 1976 and sold primarily to the fleet and coach business where they were converted to formal limousines, ambulances, hearses and even high-end airport shuttles making it an even harder find now and days due to the lack of sales to private buyers. This is one of the more rare examples you can find considering that most of these were used as working cars and with only 2,412 current miles which are believed to be true to the car, this was certainly no working car. The vehicle was owned by the same family its entire life and with a full refreshment to the coolant, gas and braking system recently, this is more than ready to hit the road for what is almost like its first opportunity to do so! The body shows in great shape with little to no sign of wear or tear over the years of storage, the wheels even host the original tires on them still which goes to show how well kept and stored it has been. The interior really holds in the nostalgia with all its power features fully functioning, the material on the seats is in great condition, the dash is like new along with all the beautiful wood work which spreads from the doors to the dash to the steering wheel. Recent work includes a fresh radiator, newly installed heater core and even a professional detail was completed to give its next owner that “fresh out of the box” feel!
