This is too cool. We are proud to offer for the first time offered for sale since purchased new, this ultra rare, 1973 AMC Jeep CJ5 “Super Jeep”. The Super Jeep is an extremely limited edition appearance package that was built between May and July in 1973. The package consisted of a chrome front bumper, black rubber wheel lip extensions, two tone color coded interior, roll bar, white stripe tires and the Super Jeep body stripe decals. It is believed that less than 200 Super Jeeps were produced over that 3 month period. The vast majority were equipped with the 258 cubic inch straight 6, and just a handful sported the 304 V8. The 1973 AMC CJ5 Super Jeep offered here is a one owner vehicle and ordered new optioned with the 304 V8, dealer installed aluminum wheels, Warn winch, fog lights and rear hitch. This high quality, original survivor Super Jeep spent its entire life on a ranch in Utah. At just 11429 original miles, remains in remarkable original condition. It is a true survivor featuring the original engine, transmission, drive train, and major componentry, all its original paint, original decals, original soft top, complete original interior and all the installed components that it left the dealership with. Only showing some slight patina, it is very apparent that it has led a charmed life. Mechanically, this Super Jeep is spot on, fully serviced and performs as new.
