To this day, Porsche's 911 SC lives up to that statement. The cars are know for a feel, and driver / car connection that is privy to the brand. This, combined with timeless styling and raw performance, The 911 SC remains on the bucket list of many auto enthusiast around the globe. Records indicate that this car was delivered July 7, 1982 as a Tourist Delivery to a US auto broker in Stuttgart W. Germany, in Chiffon White over Beige Tobacco livery, optioned with “Cookie Cutter” wheels and sport seats. It was purchased new August 21, 1982 showing just 125 miles. Since, the car was driven, cared for and enjoyed by the same owner until our recent acquisition 3 weeks prior to this listing. The car has been under the fastidious car of the same prominent Porsche and European service facility since 1984. In fact, I have 40 services receipts from that same shop indicating proper timely oil changes, timely factory recommended maintenances, valve adjustments, brakes, fluids, etc…most importantly a full engine rebuild including chain tensioner upgrade, head stud upgrade recently performed in November of 2012 at mileage 162013 and more recently a full A/C service performed August of 2013. Receipts, on hand dating back to 1984, total in excess of $36, 000.00 dollars. Today at 164018 documented miles, the car is as spry as it ever was. Mechanically the car is a proven runner, and still gives the excitement mentioned in the beginning of this description. It retains its original, fully rebuilt numbers matching engine, trans and running gear. Cosmetically, the car remains original and unaltered. The exterior paint, believed to be mostly original, shows good with proper patina for age and use. The interior follows suit showing wear but also care and remains original and unaltered. The car even retains its original Blaupunkt. The car comes complete with original owners manual, stamped warranty and maintenance book, original tools and bag, original plastic gloves, original factory spare and jack, original radio book, and full comprehensive service history. Cars like this are important, it represents the real reason people purchase sports cars: to drive and enjoy them.
