The Porsche 356 was introduced as a sports car with closed and open top configuration. It was introduced in 1948 and carried through until 1965. Deemed by many as the most desirable design is the Speedster which debuted in 1954 after the sole US Porsche importer Max Hoffman advised the company that the US market was in need of a low cost 356. They agreed and designed a car that was cheaper to produce with smaller windscreen, a cheaper less fitted top, no side windows and a cheaper light-weight seat design. Although the cheapest at the time, these cars have become some of the most expensive production Porsches in the collector market today. Although, not a real Speedster, this “vintage” replica that we are offering here sure looks the part and is extremely well sorted. This car runs and drives perfectly and has a beautiful color of dark blue. It has very few miles on it and is ready to be enjoyed. The top and side curtains are in excellent shape as well. All the look at a mere fraction of the cost.
