After 34 years in production the famous air-cooled 911 was upgraded to a water-cooled model. Known as the Type 996, this car was a major jump for Porsche, although a lot of traits that defined the 911 in the past few decades still remained. When the new model was released it received an all new re-model of the shell, (a new shell from scratch, whereas all previous 911s including the 993 were based on the original 1963 shell). As with the 993 before it the 996 was also a significant model, but mainly for the way it was conceived and designed, and the effect it had on Porsche during the 1990s. The model up for sale is a very clean, two-owner vehicle which originates from Michigan and comes with a full list of standard features plus a couple great aftermarket add-ons.
