Product Details

The concept behind the Chevy ll, the eventual Nova, was simple; a big motor in a compact car equals high performance. Just out of a private collection The 1971 Chevrolet Nova SS “tribute” offered here has been the recipient of a no expense spared, high quality build and frame off restoration holding true to that concept. The platform for this car is non-problematic, 1971 Nova Body and sub-frame. It still retains its original doors, quarters, trunk lid and fenders. It was fortified with a new one piece floor pan, one piece trunk pan, and new frame rails. The car also features all new brake lines, fuel lines, springs, new American Autowire wiring harness, new SS interior, new SS trim, and new glass all around. All this is powered by a professionally built 454 Chevrolet big block featuring a .030 over bore, 95 cc dome pistons, Pro Comp Aluminium heads, 119 cc combustion chambers and mild cam. All this is fed by a 770 Holly street avenger carburetor and an aluminum intake, and breaths with Hooker Pro Comp Long Tube coated headers and 3 inch exhaust. The power is transferred via a built Turbo 350 transmission with 1200 stall and applied by a twelve bolt rear end with 272 gears, all riding on 15 inch polished American Racing Wheels.
