Product Details

Custom builds have infinite possibilities and are a lot of fun to go through the process. Ideas come from everything, and it's part of the fun of the classic car business to see all these great concepts come to life. The “Harley Hauler” is a restomod pickup with modern mechanics and a classic pickup look. The concept was to have a 5th wheel hauler for a trailer full of Harley-Davidson motorcycles while being the best looking pickup on the road. This is titled as a 1949 GMC Pickup per the hood, front fenders, grill, panels, and cabin. However, most of this truck is a 2003 GMC 3500 Dually pickup. The engine, suspension, drivetrain, and running gear are all '03 GMC 3500. It's powered by the GMC 6.0L Vortec 6000 V8 paired with the 4-speed 4L80-E automatic transmission. This is a very cool build that combines classic show truck with modern heavy duty mechanics and technology. It features lights that illuminate when the doors open near the diamond plate steps, wood accents to the bed, AM/FM radio, rear artwork with a nod to Sturgis, Harley Hauler in the taillights, custom gauges, and power bucket seats. This is a very well done build that runs and drives great less than 300 miles on the build since completion.
