The Land Cruiser is Toyotas longest running series. It began in 1951 and is still made to this day. It has been produced in convertible, hardtop, station wagon and utility truck versions. It is known worldwide for its reliability and longevity. The FJ-60 was made from 1980 through 1989 for most worldwide markets. It retained the rugged off-road characteristics of previous Cruisers but was designed to better compete in the emerging sport utility market making it a little more refined for urban driving. We are ecstatic to present to you this 1989 Toyota FJ62 that was originally sold on Sept 22nd, 1989 in Stooneham, Massachusetts. After residing in Massachusetts, she moved to Wyoming and then Missouri, before coming to our dealership here in Michigan. Selectively restored and upgraded just a few years ago, this Fj received a full glass out respray in its original color Grey Poly. To further set this rig apart red accents were added. Additional enhancements include, cruise control, 2 inch lift with 5 new 33 inch BF Goodrich tires, ARB front bumper with Warn 8,000lbs winch, full-size ARB roof rack, ARB rear bumper with swing out tire carrier, ARB style rocksliders / running boards, IPF driving lights, lower skid plates and Pioneer CD player with Rockford Fosgate speakers throughout. Mechanically, cosmetically and interior wise this Land Cruiser is at it's best. The engine pulls strong, transmission shifts nicely and stays cool thanks to and added transmission cooler. Everything inside works as it should, all power windows, power locks, radio, heater and AC blows cold. The body shows no signs of corrosion and presents incredible. By the looks of the interior, you would be hard pressed thinking this truck had more that 50K miles on it. It is believed that all the interior is original which just speaks volumes as to the care this vehicle has been shown. If you are looking for an FJ62 and a fraction of the cost to build something similar, then this is the Toyota for you.
