Product Details

This truck was originally municipality ordered directly from General Motors to serve as a rural Fire Department in the state of Montana. After its service, it was acquired by Wolf Creek Ranch and spent most of its life serving the ranch before being acquired by a collector in Billings as a low mile, rust free truck as a candidate for a high quality restoration. The truck was then treated to a complete frame off, nut and bolt restoration using original and NOS Parts. The purpose of the restoration was clear, to build the best. No expense was spared and huge attention to detail was exercised during the restoration process and the results are absolutely stunning. The Cardinal Red exterior paint is outstanding in every way laying completely flat with a deep brilliant shine. The frame was completely stripped, smoothed accordingly, correctly painted and highly finished, the complete underside was restored and detailed to the same caliber as the exterior body and paint, the wood bed was finished to the highest quality, and the interior is absolutely gorgeous form the panted surfaces to the seat upholstery right down to the finest detail. The motor and engine bay are also detailed to the extreme. The truck is powered by its 235 cubic inch high torque inline 6 cylinder engine, 4-speed manual transmission with low gear, and 4 wheel drive. The truck features steel wheels with original 4wd hub caps, new correct spec tires, signature white grill, painted rear bumper, full size spare, bench seat, heat, and the 30239 miles on the odometer are believed to be original. Every square inch of the restoration was masterfully executed and the results are masterfully stunning. Not only is this truck cosmetically superior, it is also mechanically fit as it is turn key, sorted and ready to drive anywhere. Vintage 4X4 trucks are on fire in the collector car world and values are poised to rise even further. When it comes to collecting cars, the highest quality examples are the ones that hold the highest value over time. This K10 is among the best in its class and will contend for best in show at any venue. Documentation includes a large folder of receipts documenting parts and services rendered during the extensive restoration of this K10.
