We are pleased to present this 1918 Ford Model T 2-door Coupe (pillarless) for purchase. The Model T is legendary for many reasons, but probably most notable is the amount of them that were produced. This 2-door coupe is one of the rarest Model T's ever produced. In 1918, World War I was in full conflict and many factories shifted to the war effort making it a light year for Model T production numbers. For 1918, only 14,771 hardtop coupes were produced. The hardtop coupes featured interesting removable pillars. The center posts could be removed to turn the coupe in to an early version of the popular hardtop. 1918 was the only year removable pillars were used making surviving 1918 2-door coupes very rare & collectible vehicles This 1918 Ford Model T 2-door Coupe was fully restored in 2003 under a complete nut & bolt restoration to bring the vehicle to original factory specifications. There has been less than 100 miles driven since the restoration. This car shows in excellent condition. This vehicle was featured in the Henry Ford Museum. It is an excellent example of an American Icon, and a very rare piece.
