THIS. . . is a 2017 BMW M2 Performance Edition, finished in Alpine White with a black interior. The odometer on this M2 currently displays approximately 12,500 miles. Modifications reported by the seller are limited to an M Performance carbon fiber rear spoiler and tinted windows. BMW introduced the "F87" M2 for the 2016 model year as a high-performance evolution of the "F22"-generation 2 Series. Developed to replace the vaunted 1 Series M Coupe, it was celebrated as one of BMW M's greatest modern hits. It stood out from the standard 2 Series thanks to a more powerful engine, a revised chassis, an M-specific suspension system with aluminum components, and a more muscular-looking exterior design. The M2 Performance Edition lives up to its name by stripping out unnecessary weight like power-adjustable seats and dual-zone climate control and adding goodies in the form of an M Performance exhaust and M Performance coilover suspension. A limited run of 150 M2 Performance Edition models was produced exclusively for the U. S. market. Power comes from a turbocharged "N55" 3. 0-liter straight-6, rated at 365 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
