Product Details

The 996 model promised to be something completely different than its replacement and more dedicated to the driver and passenger. After two years of production Porsche introduced the 996 Twin Turbo that had been in hiding since 1998. With a 415-horsepower twin-turbo engine and advanced all-wheel drive, the new-generation 911 Turbo takes its place in the top echelon of the supercar category. Derived from the Porsche GT1 racecar, the 3.6-liter, horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine sustains 415 lb.-ft. of peak torque from 2,700-4,600 rpm. In place of a conventional throttle cable setup, the E-Gas electronic throttle transmits pedal position to the engine control unit. Power drives through a standard six-speed manual transmission. This very nice vehicle has been very well cared for and has logged less than 24k miles over the past 12yrs. The classic Arctic Silver paint shines as nice as the day it was sold and the leather seats show almost zero wear, even with the very plush supple leather seats. A Few tasteful upgrades to this car include Lo-Jack, K40 Laser/Radar detector and Pioneer Stereo with Navigation and iPod hookup. A 3M clear bra was also professionally installed on the hood. Vehicle was optioned nicely with factory features that include over the standard equipment; full power seats, heated front seats, supple leather front and rear seats, colored crest in wheels, and on-board computer. Other great features that were standard on the Turbo model include; Rear Wiper, BOSE Stereo, stainless shift knob and E-Brake, 18in Turbo style wheels, power rear spoiler, dual exhaust, PSM system, memory driver seat and much more. Tires have lots of tread left and vehicle runs and drives as you would expect for a nice low mileage Turbo.
