Product Details

The Dodge Challenger is the name of three different generations and was marketed by the Dodge division of Chrysler. The Dodge Silver Challenger was first to be produced from 1958 to 1959 as a limited edition which inherited its name from the fact that they didn't use any other paint choice except silver. From 1969 to 1974, the first generation Dodge Challenger pony car was built using the Chrysler E Platform, sharing most of its major components with the Plymouth Barracuda. The second generation which was in production from 1978 to 1983, was a badge Mitsubishi Galant Lambda. The third, and current generation, was introduced in early 2008 as a rival to the competition, the fifth generation for both, the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro. This particular Dodge Challenger is a wonderful example of what the 70's had to offer. The classic look of the pony cars from then, this has a wonderful Bright Red exterior with black decals to set off its lines perfectly. Harboring a 440 V8 engine bored over 0.030 with the 6-Pack Carburetor matched with the 727 Torque-Flite Automatic transmission makes this an easy to enjoy ride. This comes with an original Challenger operator's manual and an entire chest full of receipts and history on this model, it even has the original car production broadcast that was under the interior seat! Just about every mechanical part and wire has been replace and photos of the process are well documented and offered to its next owner to see the before and after of this wonderful ride! With a wonderful sound which radiates from the Flo-Master exhaust system you must hear it! A great driver sitting on Mag wheels for those who love the old Mopar style, running great and ready to run to its next new home!
