The heart of the ZR1 is the LS9 6.2-liter supercharged V-8. It's expected to have 620 bhp, or possibly more. Overall, the engine puts out 20 percent more power and torque than the already ferocious LS7 from the Z06! The car has gained roughly 200 lb., even though it employs carbon-ceramic brakes and lightweight carbon-fiber bodywork. The extra weight will hurt performance a bit, but some will be gained back with specialized Michelin tires. We expect slalom and skidpad performance to be affected most. – Road And Track With all the power you could imagine, this ZR-1 is a real monster from the factory, the dry sump oil system and active handling keeps this speedy ride in check and with a limited slip rear which is geared low at 3.42, there is certainly enough power to the rear for you to enjoy. With premium leather wrapped throughout the interior including the shifter, steering wheel, seats and doors, the perforated front seats are also power adjustable on the driver side and the room is plentiful even for a performance minded ride. The exterior shows just as well as the interior with its beautiful red exterior accented well by its premium wheels, the translucent hood slot is a great way to show off its powerful LS9 motor, the aggressive stature and overall design is a shining example of GM performance and not enough can be said for the condition this vehicle was kept in by its first and only owner!
