Factory equipment includes Subaru's Symmetrical all-wheel drive system, Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-Drive), a Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD), front and rear limited-slip differentials, Brembo brake system, a sport-tuned suspension, sunroof, leather upholstery, and more as detailed below. Modifications to this STI are extensive, and the full list is detailed below. include 18-inch XXR 551 wheels, an IAG Stage 2 engine block, a South Bend Clutch Stage 3 Endurance clutch kit, an Invidia exhaust, a Tomei equal length exhaust manifold, drilled and slotted rotors, and a COBB Tuning V3 Accessport. Based on the third-generation Impreza, the WRX STI was introduced in the U. S. market in 2008 as the rally-inspired high-performance variant of the model lineup. It featured a larger displacement turbocharged engine, a wider track with flared fenders, and aluminum suspension components. Power comes from an "EJ257" 2. 5-liter turbocharged flat-4 engine, rated at 305 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque when left stock. According to the dyno sheet pictured in the gallery, it now produces about 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque at the wheels when using E-85 flex fuel. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
