This stunning '86 Carrera convertible is in extremely nice shape and other than the nice Nakamichi stereo upgrade and painted red calipers, remains in proper stock setup from the factory. Delivered new out of Don McGill Porsche in Houston Texas on September 5th 1986 where it remained in the custody of the original owner for the next 13 years. The car was traded two other times between owners in Michigan and Ohio until recently traded into us by the 3rd owner just recently. The car was delivered from the factory with the following factory setup; sport steering wheel with elevated hub, Monterey Stereo, short shifter kit, central locking system, forged light metal wheels with gold metallic paint, electric power convertible top, automatic speed control, and alarm system. This well cared for Porsche continues to impress after being 31yrs old. The black paint is in remarkable shape and the fairly rare Champagne interior has held up well. The top easily opens and closes and all features seem to be working properly throughout the car. Recent service work includes; new fabric headliner installed, new electric motors installed for top, and recent yearly service. In 2004 A/C was switched over from R12 to R134 and blows cold. Cruise, lights, power top, wipers and heater all function properly and the updated stereo provides tunes to the driver if the exhaust and engine isn't enough. Vehicle comes with new set of Loyd 911 floor mats, tools, spare tire and owner's manuals.
