The Chevy Impala came into its 3rd generation in 1961 where the body changed and the refinements were very evident to the buyers. This iconic look was a staple at the Chevy dealers across the nation as people were spending their hard earned money on quality vehicles of the USA . These earlier models of the 60's remain to be the most desirable of the body styles and the very cool 6 light rear end is stunning. We are pleased to bring to market this extremely well restored setup from a few years ago. It is apparent that a lot of money was spent and the vehicle brought to a high standard. The car shows in the stunning Ermine white with red trim along with the red vinyl cloth pinstripe interior. New headliner, seat covers, door panels, dash, rear seatbelts, carpet kit, floor mats, and tachometer were all nicely redone and done properly. All new door moldings and window moldings were replaced and the windows function properly and all doors, trunk and hood line up great. The exterior paint shines and the trim was done to perfection. The chrome on the exterior is remarkable and the cool red dog dish wheels with chrome beauty rings really set the car up nicely. According to cowl tag was built out of the St Louis plant with the same setup as it is today with the 2spd power glide auto transmission, Ermine White paint, Red cloth interior, and the 283 V8 engine with 220HP. All lights function with turn signals and high beams. The engine comes to life quickly and gets up to operating temperature and sounds amazing with the dual side exiting exhaust. New gas tank, new Flowmaster exhaust, newer steering rack and new polyurethane bushings. The engine was treated to a mild rebuild and comes with chrome valve covers, dual snorkel chromed air cleaner, new insulation and many new hoses and hardware. The power steering gives you a smooth drive and the dual mounted side mirrors completes the look. Vehicle also has a dual master cylinder for the brakes. All gauges seem to work properly and the car drives down the road effortlessly. This is a great vehicle from every aspect and the quality times that will be had by next owner will be endless as you pack up a cooler and load some friends in the car and enjoy a cruise to the beach, park or next car show to bring home the trophy.
